On my travels to Switzerland, it boggles my mind that people don’t use the stairs especially in-between connecting flights. Your legs need the circulation and this is the best way to get them restarted from a 10hr flight! I can understand the escalators are there if you physically are incapable of the journey. I’m always looking for ways to take the path of resistance as this supports my training overall. I have 25 hours of no active training pattern due to preparation of the trip, connecting flights and no sleep. Who wants to do 50 push-ups on the floor of an airport? No one! My point is, take your training into all parts of your day. Whether it’s at work, travel or having fun!
